Canceling and Refunding a Policy
Acacia Insurance Managers LLC reserves the right to cancel policies within the first 60 days of New Business coverage due to any of the following lawful reasons:
-Failure to Disclose Driving History (claims, tickets, arrests)
-Incomplete or Inaccurate data on Application of Coverage
-New Claim filed within 60 days of inception
-Failure to provide documentation or information requested by Acacia Insurance Managers LLC pertaining to the policy
Insured’s reserve the right to cancel their policies at any time with Acacia Insurance Managers LLC in the event that one or more of the following occurs:
-An accident results in a total loss of the vehicle(s) on the policy
-Coverage has been provided by another Insurance Premium Finance Company
-Death of the Named Insured (with Power of Attorney)
-Moving out of state where coverages can be provided by Acacia Insurance Managers LLC
-Military or Active Duty Services
All request for Cancellation must be submitted to Acacia Insurance Managers LLC in writing and signed by the Named Insured policyholder with reason for cancellation & appropriate documentation if necessary.
Under Sec 651.161 & Sec 651.158, Acacia Insurance Managers LLC must comply with all of the following:
-Mail a written 10 day notice of cancellation to the insured party & any loan holders or other affiliated interests. Cancellation may not take place until the 10th day after the notice is mailed.
-If the crediting of the return premiums to the account of an Insured results in an excess over the amount due to the Company, Acacia Insurance Managers LLC shall refund the excess to the Insured.
-If the amount of credited funds owed is less than $5.00, the Insured is not entitled to any refund.
-Acacia Insurance Managers LLC collects the entire ‘Policy Fee’ of any written business unless business is flat cancelled to inception
-Any policy paid in full by the Insured that is cancelled prior to the term ending date, will be issued a refund for the unused dates minus any fees per the Company & any coverage time provided before the date of cancellation.
